
Jeffrey Weinzweig, MD
Jeffrey Weinzweig, MD, FACS, is a Board-certified plastic surgeon who is recognized as an international specialist in his field. Dr. Weinzweig was the youngest academic plastic surgeon in his expertise to be appointed chairman of plastic surgery at a big hospital in Boston. He is one of the most prolific authors and researchers in plastic surgery, having written six textbooks and more than 200 peer-reviewed papers and chapters. In addition to his own practice, he is the Chief of Craniofacial Surgery and the Director of the Craniofacial Anomalies Program at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. Dr. Weinzweig is the Founder and Executive Director of Komedyplast, a non-profit worldwide organization that treats children in underdeveloped nations with complicated craniofacial defects.
